This weblog has its name from 'historiology': the knowledge of history or as Oxford English Dictionary puts it: "the knowledge or study of history". My interest is historiography: the writing of history, both how history has been written before and the philosophical aspects of writing about the past. My weblog will therefore be mainly about these themes.
